The Nelson family (Generation III)

For the last of what’s become four installments on the Nelson family I’ll relate that I was driving somewhere recently, had the Outlaw Country station locked in on my Sirius radio (channel 60!), and heard this fierce country/punk rocker of a song, identified at its conclusion by my favorite station D.J. Paula Nelson (yes, Willie’s daughter) as being by the Raelyn Nelson Band. Could that be another of Willie’s daughters, I wondered? A quick Google later, I came to find, no…it’s his granddaughter! What a killer song. And whoa Nelson, what a family. I’m already looking forward to Generation IV.

By the way, my dog’s name is Nelson (no relation).
